About the book
Gathering Time is my first and most comprehensive book. Taking an autobiographical approach, I explore the quiet awe and emotion I find in woodland, together with my deeply personal connection to this beautifully complex world. Clothbound and thread-sewn, the book features 90 photographs made over six years.
All the Wood’s a Stage brings together the photographs and accompanying words from the acclaimed exhibition that Joe Cornish and I presented at Nunnington Hall. Arranged around a series of artistically inspired themes, we hope the work conveys the joy and wonder of trees while also exploring the more complex emotions that can arise from looking at them and walking among them.
In OAK, I present more than 40 photographs alongside several pages of thoughtful writing, offering an intimate insight into how I observe, think and feel as a full-time woodland photographer.
